Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers out there! As a mom myself, I can say with certainty that being a mother is one of the most incredible experiences in life. I always knew I wanted to be a mom, but I never fully understood what that meant until I had these two little ones in my life. Motherhood has given me a whole new appreciation for the sacrifices and love that our own mothers and grandmothers have shown us throughout our lives. Sadly, my grandmothers passed away before our kids were born, and I wish every day that they had the opportunity to meet them. We also just lost Thomas’s grandmother two weeks ago, and it has reminded us of how precious our time with our loved ones truly is. We are grateful for our moms who are still with us and able to enjoy their grandchildren. We hope they are proud of the parents we have become and cherish every moment we have with them.
